We at the Monterey Peninsula church of Christ are a simple group of people with a simple goal: we strive to please God in all that we do by being Christians who live according to the New Testament; nothing more, and nothing less.

It is our objective to restore ourselves to what Christians were in the first century by following the template that the apostles and other early Christian prophets gave in their inspired writings.  We use “common sense” when reading and interpreting Scripture, and believe that all men can come to the same basic understanding of what God wants from us.

We are not part of any denomination and have no ties with any organization here on Earth, but try to be just like the churches in the New Testament, as much as is possible.
